The Horizon Film Festival, put on by the Burton School District, is an annual showcase of Burton students' cinematic feats. Since 2017, students have been invited to enter their films for the chance to win first prize among their peers. Each year, the film festival is hosted by the Porterville Galaxy 9 Theater, where contestants have the chance to watch their film on the big screen.
